nature is a multifaceted presence, always perceived as an irrational, fascinating and destructive power at the same time, which most effectively manifests good and beauty as the most terrible violence. our relationship with this world in motion becomes more and more complicated and at the same time acquires increasing importance and urgency.

the aims of the project are the enhancement of the territory, raising the user's awareness of the environment and a careful, not passive, observation of what surrounds us. there are three keywords that summarize the concept of our refuge: centrality, safety, connection.
